La sanci\u00f3n es la m\u00e1s alta prevista por la legislaci\u00f3n vigente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Gobierno de Jujuy, a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio de Ambiente y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, impuso la multa m\u00e1s alta registrada por caza furtiva de vicu\u00f1as en la provincia, en un hecho considerado hist\u00f3rico para la protecci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad. Dos personas fueron sancionadas con una multa cercana a los 89 millones de pesos cada una por la matanza ilegal de nueve ejemplares de esta especie protegida en la zona de Pasaje Piscuno, localidad de Cieneguillas, departamento Santa Catalina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La medida se tom\u00f3 en el marco de la Ley Provincial N\u00b0 3014 de Protecci\u00f3n de la Fauna Silvestre y de la Ley Nacional N\u00b0 22.421, normativas que proh\u00edben la caza, captura y comercializaci\u00f3n ilegal de especies protegidas. El monto de la multa fue calculado en funci\u00f3n del da\u00f1o ambiental ocasionado, estableciendo una penalizaci\u00f3n equivalente a 4.400 litros de combustible por cada animal cazado, lo que representa un total de 39.600 litros de nafta Infinia YPF por infractor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s de la sanci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, el caso ya cuenta con intervenci\u00f3n judicial. El Ministerio P\u00fablico de la Acusaci\u00f3n y el Juzgado Ambiental dispusieron una condena de dos a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n de ejecuci\u00f3n condicional para los responsables, junto con medidas complementarias orientadas a la reparaci\u00f3n del da\u00f1o causado y la concientizaci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde el Ministerio de Ambiente destacaron que realizaron un seguimiento permanente de la causa y participaron activamente en las instancias judiciales correspondientes, reafirmando su rol como autoridad de aplicaci\u00f3n en materia ambiental y su compromiso con la defensa de la fauna silvestre juje\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asimismo, el organismo inform\u00f3 que contin\u00faa fortaleciendo su capacidad de intervenci\u00f3n en causas ambientales y analiza la posibilidad de constituirse como querellante en delitos que afecten a la biodiversidad provincial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las autoridades recordaron que la vicu\u00f1a es una especie emblem\u00e1tica y fundamental para el equilibrio de los ecosistemas altoandinos, protegida por legislaci\u00f3n provincial, nacional e internacional.
