El intendente de Perico, Rolando Pascual Ficoseco, anunci\u00f3 la anulaci\u00f3n de una obra comercial muy esperada, al declarar desierto el proyecto por medio de un decreto, pero ratific\u00f3 su compromiso de continuar impulsando el desarrollo de la ciudad con m\u00faltiples obras en marcha y una agenda de crecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDebo decirles que he emitido un decreto que lleva el n\u00famero 508, donde declaramos desierta esta obra, lamentablemente muy esperada por toda nuestra comunidad\u201d, inform\u00f3 el jefe comunal, al remarcar que la decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 \u201ccuando hay una sombra de sospecha\u201d y que puso a disposici\u00f3n de la Justicia toda la documentaci\u00f3n. \u201cEstoy totalmente limpio, yo no particip\u00e9 absolutamente en nada ni con el empresario, ni con los concejales, absolutamente nada\u201d, asegur\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El intendente lament\u00f3 el impacto que la suspensi\u00f3n genera en el sector comercial: \u201cSe le ha quitado la dignidad a nuestros comerciantes por la gran expectativa que hab\u00eda de esta obra que necesitaba Perico y que realmente era darle un impulso grand\u00edsimo al comercio\u201d. No obstante, subray\u00f3 que \u201cun tropez\u00f3n a veces no es ca\u00edda, estamos de pie para seguir la agenda del municipio adelante, ponernos nuevamente a trabajar porque esto nos paraliz\u00f3 en su momento, pero tenemos much\u00edsima obra por delante\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ese sentido, Ficoseco detall\u00f3 que el municipio avanza con proyectos prioritarios: la construcci\u00f3n del nuevo cementerio, la instalaci\u00f3n de una gran cisterna de agua, la pavimentaci\u00f3n en distintas calles como Maimar\u00e1 y Velez Sarfield, obras en barrios como Juan Pablo II, Libertad y San Mart\u00edn, y la colocaci\u00f3n de sem\u00e1foros en puntos cr\u00edticos como la Ruta a Santo Domingo y la Escuela N\u00ba 441.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n mencion\u00f3 la puesta en valor de espacios p\u00fablicos: \u201cLa plazoleta 19 de Abril ya tiene todo el material comprado para enriquecerla, y estamos planificando el parque del 20 de Junio, con veredas e iluminaci\u00f3n, para que los vecinos disfruten y los comerciantes tengan all\u00ed un espacio ordenado\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ficoseco remarc\u00f3 que Perico tiene un papel estrat\u00e9gico en la regi\u00f3n: \u201cVamos a recibir alcaldes de Chile, Brasil y Paraguay en el marco del encuentro en San Salvador. Queremos entablar lazos de amistad y aprovechar la ruta bioce\u00e1nica, porque la oportunidad es grand\u00edsima. Nuestros comerciantes son los que van a transformar el comercio en el pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, el intendente dej\u00f3 abierta la posibilidad de retomar el emprendimiento comercial en el futuro: \u201cSi todav\u00eda hay entusiasmo por parte de los se\u00f1ores comerciantes, hablaremos en el momento adecuado, luego de que act\u00fae la justicia, para retomar este gran emprendimiento que necesita Perico\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
