El evento contar\u00e1 adem\u00e1s con chocolate en el Parque Retorno y actividades para compartir con la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLo que tratamos de hacer es promover estilos de vida saludables y la integraci\u00f3n social a trav\u00e9s de actividades deportivas\u201d, expres\u00f3 Alejandro Escobar, Jefe del Centro de Gesti\u00f3n y Personal de Bici Polic\u00eda de la Unidad Regional N\u00b06, durante una entrevista con el programa radial \u00abPreso en mi ciudad\u00bb por Sky FM 106.1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Escobar destac\u00f3 que la labor de los \u00abbicipolic\u00edas\u00bb va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la vigilancia: \u201cNuestra unidad promueve la convivencia, la salud, el respeto mutuo y la implementaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 la efectividad del cuerpo policial: \u201cEl polic\u00eda en bicicleta tiene mayor capacidad de maniobra y puede llegar a lugares donde otros m\u00f3viles no ingresan\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reciente accionar de la UPCAR tuvo gran repercusi\u00f3n tras recuperar una motocicleta robada el pasado domingo. \u201cLos \u00abbicipolic\u00edas\u00bb lograron un procedimiento eficiente gracias a la r\u00e1pida denuncia de los vecinos y al trabajo coordinado con la Municipalidad y el Ministerio de Seguridad\u201d, inform\u00f3 Escobar. El delincuente aprehendido era oriundo de San Pedro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jefe policial valor\u00f3 especialmente el rol ciudadano: \u201cSiempre va a haber un bici polic\u00eda en la calle que puede llegar r\u00e1pido. Este trabajo es efectivo porque contamos con c\u00e1maras de seguridad, radiocomunicaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n vecinal\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a estad\u00edsticas, Escobar subray\u00f3 que en los \u00faltimos meses \u201cse ha logrado reducir el \u00edndice delictivo\u201d, con m\u00faltiples recuperaciones de celulares y motos, y respuestas inmediatas a situaciones de violencia de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La UPCAR cuenta actualmente con m\u00e1s efectivos, m\u00f3viles y motocicletas. \u201cTenemos m\u00e1s capacidad de cobertura en zonas que antes no pod\u00edamos alcanzar\u201d, afirm\u00f3. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 el trabajo articulado con el centro de monitoreo de la Municipalidad: \u201cTenemos un contacto fluido con el personal municipal. Nos permiten acceder al monitoreo de c\u00e1maras y participamos juntos en controles vehiculares\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre el evento de aniversario, Escobar expres\u00f3: \u201cQueremos compartir estos 10 a\u00f1os con la comunidad. Que los ni\u00f1os sepan que pueden acercarse a un polic\u00eda, pedir ayuda e informaci\u00f3n. Siempre vamos a estar ah\u00ed\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el jefe de la \u00abbicipolic\u00eda\u00bb agradeci\u00f3 el espacio brindado por el medio local: \u201cA veces s\u00f3lo se muestran las cosas negativas.
