Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 que cualquier vecino puede colaborar desde su propio barrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La agrupaci\u00f3n Huellitas Sin Hogar contin\u00faa trabajando por el bienestar de los animales en situaci\u00f3n de calle y rescatados, con especial \u00e9nfasis en la adopci\u00f3n responsable, la castraci\u00f3n y la concientizaci\u00f3n de la comunidad como herramientas fundamentales para reducir el abandono y la sobrepoblaci\u00f3n animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00f3nica Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, integrante de la organizaci\u00f3n, explic\u00f3 que actualmente son tres las personas que sostienen el trabajo y que desde hace a\u00f1os buscan encontrar familias responsables para los animales que tienen bajo su cuidado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSomos una agrupaci\u00f3n, somos chicas que llevamos adelante Huellitas Sin Hogar. Tenemos animales rescatados que estamos dando hace a\u00f1os, que los venimos dando en adopci\u00f3n, pero lamentablemente no conseguimos familias para ellos\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s del rescate y la b\u00fasqueda de hogares, la agrupaci\u00f3n desarrolla acciones de concientizaci\u00f3n y trabaja para promover modificaciones en las normativas relacionadas con la protecci\u00f3n animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cQueremos seguir con este proyecto porque estamos convencidas de que la educaci\u00f3n, la informaci\u00f3n y la concientizaci\u00f3n va a ser uno de los tres pilares para el cambio\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3, estos tres ejes son fundamentales para abordar problem\u00e1ticas como \u201cel abandono, la sobrepoblaci\u00f3n de animales, el maltrato y la crueldad animal\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cada vecino puede convertirse en parte de la soluci\u00f3n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde Huellitas Sin Hogar remarcaron que no es necesario formar parte de una organizaci\u00f3n para ayudar a un animal en situaci\u00f3n de calle. La colaboraci\u00f3n puede comenzar con peque\u00f1as acciones desde cada barrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHay mil formas de ayudar\u201d, sostuvo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, y explic\u00f3 que un vecino puede asistir a un animal que encuentre en la calle, averiguar si tiene due\u00f1o, colaborar con su alimentaci\u00f3n, llevarlo a un veterinario o gestionar una castraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia de realizar controles sanitarios y aplicar tratamientos preventivos contra par\u00e1sitos, especialmente durante las \u00e9pocas de mayor reproducci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La integrante de Huellitas Sin Hogar se\u00f1al\u00f3 que quienes encuentren un animal sin due\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n pueden publicar su situaci\u00f3n en redes sociales para intentar encontrar a su familia o conseguirle un hogar definitivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cQuiz\u00e1s, sin necesidad de hacer nada, se puede contactar con nosotros y le podemos brindar los pasos a seguir o qu\u00e9 es lo que se puede hacer, o de qu\u00e9 manera podemos ayudar\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Promueven especialmente la adopci\u00f3n de animales adultos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uno de los principales desaf\u00edos que enfrenta la agrupaci\u00f3n es conseguir familias que est\u00e9n dispuestas a adoptar perros y gatos adultos, ya que existe una marcada preferencia por los cachorros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez destac\u00f3 que adoptar un animal adulto tambi\u00e9n tiene importantes ventajas y pidi\u00f3 a la comunidad considerar esta alternativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLa adopci\u00f3n de animales adultos es una ventaja favorable para todos y es la ventaja que la ciudadan\u00eda no lo ve as\u00ed\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ese sentido, explic\u00f3 que muchos animales adultos ya tienen incorporados h\u00e1bitos que facilitan su adaptaci\u00f3n a una nueva familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEl adulto ya est\u00e1 educado, sabe d\u00f3nde tiene que hacer sus necesidades, sabe c\u00f3mo es el alimento balanceado, sabe pasear con collar y con correa\u201d, detall\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diferencia de ello, los cachorros requieren mayor tiempo, atenci\u00f3n y paciencia por parte de sus responsables para aprender estos h\u00e1bitos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Castrar para evitar el crecimiento de la problem\u00e1tica<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La castraci\u00f3n aparece como otra de las herramientas centrales para enfrentar el crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n de animales en las calles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez advirti\u00f3 que gran parte de los animales que actualmente viven en situaci\u00f3n de calle fueron abandonados por personas que en alg\u00fan momento los tuvieron bajo su responsabilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEl animal no nace del \u00e1rbol. Evidentemente, alguien alguna vez adopt\u00f3 un animal, no lo quiso seguir cuidando y lo tir\u00f3 a la calle\u201d, expres\u00f3 en una entrevista radial con SKY FM 106.1 MHZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por ese motivo, consider\u00f3 fundamental avanzar en la castraci\u00f3n de perros y gatos y promover una mayor responsabilidad por parte de quienes deciden incorporar una mascota a su hogar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSer\u00eda bueno por ese lado empezar a sacar los animales de la calle, ayudarlo a castrarlo, para evitar seguir reproduciendo m\u00e1s animales tambi\u00e9n\u201d, manifest\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n propuso que los vecinos de un mismo barrio puedan organizarse para asistir a aquellos animales que permanecen en la v\u00eda p\u00fablica desde hace tiempo, verificar su estado de salud, castrarlos y posteriormente buscarles una familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tenencia responsable, una decisi\u00f3n que debe pensarse antes de adoptar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente, desde Huellitas Sin Hogar hicieron hincapi\u00e9 en que adoptar un animal implica asumir una responsabilidad de largo plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLo m\u00e1s inteligente para m\u00ed ser\u00eda, por ejemplo, plantearse si realmente vas a disponer del tiempo y vas a tener las condiciones de brindarle a este animal lo que necesita\u201d, reflexion\u00f3 Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La representante record\u00f3 que la calle no constituye un lugar adecuado para los animales y que su presencia tambi\u00e9n puede generar riesgos para ellos y para las personas que circulan por la v\u00eda p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde Huellitas Sin Hogar invitaron a la comunidad a involucrarse, promover la adopci\u00f3n responsable, colaborar con la castraci\u00f3n y comunicarse con la agrupaci\u00f3n ante casos de animales abandonados o que necesiten asistencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo necesariamente tenemos que hacer una actividad grupal.
